Thanks for checking this!

Now, I realize that my request message was quite brief. My understanding
is that pacman packages are no allowed because you could simple do

  pacman -U https://url/to/package.pkg.tar.zst

without the need to unpack and repack the same thing (which makes no
sense). For these type of packages, it is better to store them in a
repository.

Also, I'm positive that this reasoning for deletion has been accepted
in the past. And the rules of submission say (#6)

"The AUR should not contain the binary tarball created by makepkg"

which is what this package is. So, IMO, this should be deleted.


OTOH, the package could be updated to use the appimage instead, but
it's been three months and I haven't seen any complain/comment from the
maintainer.
