The package now patches the Makefile so that it refers to the opencv in [extra]: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/commit/?h=ssimulacra&id=9bfcf9dbb9decf7ac6211dde59bad5e88c286ecc
I hope that this alleviates the concerns surrounding the buildability of this package.
