MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for npd6-git [2]: Low-level IPv6 network tool for gateway routing, developed between 2011 and 2014, to solve some problems that existed at that time with IPv6 local address assignment and then facilitate the routing of incoming responses to ensure they reach each device that sent an ICMP request.
Source URL broken since 2022-03. Can be deleted, not useful to keep. There are well-established solutions for IPv6 routing nowadays, no need to run this historical daemon on internet gateway/router devices.
