MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for pigz-gzip-symlink [2]:

This is a problematic package.

Replaces gzip, which is part of Arch base, meaning that the latter
*should* be a part of every Arch install.

Uses mkdir inside package() instead of install.

Uses an embedded $(which pigz) and $(which unpigz) when creating
symlinks, to find the defined pigz executable in the runtime
environment, which means it will potentially create and install a
symlink in /usr/bin that points to an arbitrary location, and also can
lead to a different result in a clean chroot environment, a custom
chroot environment, and user's own runtime environment when built with
makepkg.
