MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python2-scons [2]: Broken, abandoned package, missing a checkdepends. Also it tries and fails to build the otherwise superfluous documentation (which is available online).
There is a maintained and working alternative, AUR/scons2, which also virtually provides 'python2-scons'. So all packages that rely on the latter dependency name will be able to find scons2 and work with that.
