MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for audacious2-plugins [2]:

Unmaintained old, broken Audacious 3.2 plugins package from 2015.

Repo carries the current Audacious 4.3.1 and its plugins, built with
Qt5 atm.
AUR also has the same version of audacious-plugins-gtk3.

This package is built with gtk2, which the project still seems to
support, but the package name here is misleading. It suggests as if
this was for Audacious 2.x rather than its current 3.2.

There is a missing dependency since 2023-06, which the owner did not
address.

I recommend deletion. Last comment is from 2019, in which a user
requested a dependency change to align with repo's jack2, but nothing
happened.

If still needed, an updated PKGBUILD could be submitted any time, but
that should have the pkgname audacious-plugins-gtk2 to align with the
other variant on AUR.

This is not a GNOME project where it was customary to attach "2" at
the end of the package name for gtk2 builds.
