The PKGBUILD has last been updated in 2018 and it is not conformant anymore with current Arch Java package guidelines. But this outdated XML language server is not needed: AUR has the 'lemminx' package which is a new and currently developed XML language server, hosted by the Eclipse foundation's GitHub repo.
