More important, one of the maintainers packages hasn't been updated
for years - and as to smartgit, several people try to reach out, but
there's absolutely no response and "smartgit" is a package that many
people use and depend on.
I might also be willing to be maintainer - otherwise the user
"ptr1337" is very experienced (=is maintaining lots of packages) and
offered to become co-maintainer for "smartgit", but there's absolutely
no response - and the package has been out-of-date for a long time
now, with no response.
