tpkessler [1] filed a request to merge rocm-developer-tools [2] into rocm-hip-sdk [3]:
Currently, the meta packages of AMD's ROCm project are provided as individual packages. Over time, their number has grown to 10 which makes it very cumbersome to update them with a new release. In a new package structure, rocm-hip-sdk will provide all meta packages as a split package. Thus, only one instead of a dozen packages has to be updated with a new release.
