MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge libmediawiki [2] into libmediawiki-git [3]:
This stable library has not been updated since 2017-08-30. It's been dropped from the KDE Gear/Apps suite in April 2022. There is no reason to keep this package. The target VCS package receives occasional maintenance commits, so I recommend to keep only that and delete this obsolete non-git one.
