MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for geeknote-git [2]: Abandoned Python2 based VCS package, last updated in 2018.
Code has not been developed since 2015; developer added a note to the GitHub README in 2020 stating this fact. Therefore a VCS package is not needed; also package has been broken since 2020 because of missing Python 2 dependencies. Safe to delete. Nothing depends on it.
