It's not a suffix. The package contains the `arch` command, which comes from the coreutils source code repository but is not built by default and therefore is not included in Arch's coreutils package. `arch` is a dependency of certain proprietary software and build scripts. For more information, you can install the package and run `man arch`. -Alex
