IANAL, but I'd like to clarify one thing: e-mails sent to this list are not "public domain", which is a term used to indicate status of copyright: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_domain The copyright of e-mails sent (by default) fall to their author, even when sending to a public mailing list like this. I think you meant to say that they are public (full stop!), and in that regard you are correct – as are you with the rest of your statement (ironically :)). -- Namasté, Frederik “Freso” S.
