Arch Linux CN community have a tool nvchecker ( https://github.com/lilydjwg/nvchecker) for periodically checking new versions of software and sending notifications. We have a nightly building bot and a unofficial repo ( https://github.com/archlinuxcn/repo) driving by nvchecker.
