Because the developers are human beings and their time is limited.
Moreover, 0.3.5 was released just today; it's a bit too much
complaining about not having it in the repos yet, don't you think? :)
Please give it some time and it will be updated.
If you absolutely have to have it now, modify the PKGBUILD to your
liking and build it yourself!
