Hi Riyadh,

I think this nothing to do with strings but because you have run Audacity 
from one location then run it from another location. Audacity records the 
separate locations of enabled effects in the pluginregistry.cfg file in 
Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Audacity\  (for Vista and later). 

To clear the duplicate Effect Menu entries, quit Audacity and delete
the pluginregistry.cfg file.
