Yeah, I've been contemplating about including such a target but there is other stuff to do with higher priority. > so can i just install the > new auctex over it, should i delete .../site-lisp/auctex/ first? I'd recommend deleting the directory. And then hope that the manuals in the info directory are overwritten properly.
