I have no idea why that would be, but then I don't know how the snapshots would be generated. The CVS log states: RCS file: /cvsroot/auctex/auctex/auctex.el.in,v Working file: auctex.el.in head: 5.2 branch: locks: strict access list: symbolic names: keyword substitution: kv total revisions: 2; selected revisions: 2 description: ---------------------------- revision 5.2 date: 2005/04/29 12:32:17; author: dak; state: Exp; lines: +4 -4 * auctex.el.in: * context.el: * latex.el: * tex-jp.el: * tex-site.el.in: * tex.el: * tex-info.el: Remove TeX-doc. * tex-info.el (Texinfo-mode): Fix type in alias. * tex-site.el.in (tex-site): Provides are added by Makefile. Remove them here. ---------------------------- revision 5.1 date: 2005/04/28 05:10:24; author: dak; state: Exp; * tex-site.el.in (TeX-doc): Use AUCTeX-version. * configure.ac: fiddle with relative paths. * Makefile.in: several changes to buld structure. * auctex.el.in (TeX-doc): Startup file source. [...] Now don't ask me why the revisions start with 5.1 which is pretty much insane. Probably some mixup with options, or some use of C-u as a prefix which has caused some weird effect. But regardless of the crazy large version number, this _is_ a head revision, and not really an old file, anyway. Reiner? I don't know _how_ you are doing the snapshots, but it is pretty obvious that the right way to do them would be to use cvs export in some manner. -- David Kastrup, Kriemhildstr. 15, 44793 Bochum _______________________________________________ auctex mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/auctex
