I have this configuration.

Well everything works fine, till the moment I add the new environment
\begin{equation*}
\int f dx=0
\end{equation*}
This will then *not* displayed via preview, I have to run C-c C-p C-p
again.
BTW, may be the after-save-hook would be a better choice?
