Hello:
I had my sighted computer guy come over to look at the food service log in page
and he verified that I do have silver light 4.0 which is the most recent
released version and is what the food service program is written in or whatever
you say. It is not flash.
The computer guy said that it does come with accessibility features but they
are usually not written in because they don't understand it or don't think
to do it.
Anyway, the log in screen is shown on the screen but JAWS 12 doesn't talk.
Hmmm.
Anybody have any advice how to kick some butt to get them to change their
website. My nephew is now a lawyer. I don't want to have to go that far but
maybe will have to do so.
The food service gets federal funding since they provide reduced food lunches
etc. My kid doesn't get a reduced lunch, though. We don't qualify.
Just need anybody's advice on how to pursue this.
Sam is only in second grade going into third and will go through this school
district until his senior year.
