Here's a good one.

I have an installation of Asterisk 1.6. It appears that, every time I make a
configuration change and click on "Apply Configuration Changes" in FreePBX,
/etc/asterisk/sip_general_additional.conf is updated - and gains a line:

externip=217.156.138.78

But this installation doesn't have any trunks. It's an internal-only switch.
It should NOT be finding an external IP address.

One disastrous consequence is that it then gives the external IP address as the
connection address in the SDP of an INVITE to another extension that's on a
different internal subnet, so the called extension can't send RTP or RTCP back.

How can I stop it from doing this?

Dave
