Both approaches seem to be rather silent on this list, cvs, etc.

How about small itsp's?
I'm using enum but I have lots of time problem with there
server/broadband connection (registration timeout). Perhaps the
connection between Europe/Au is not so good as I have no problem with
others gateway based in Europe.
