My opinion is that both are Crap. Both of them have a flaw in their base design, which is difficult to explain in a post like this. Suffice to say that these two applications neither support nor designed for mutilpe routes ( multiple Area codes with Destination groups) nor multiple rate plans(Provider rates or buying rates and selling rates) nor multiple business models(retail, wholesale, corporate customers)
Hence both of them cannot be the base for a commercial grade billing system for a Calling card Model. These apps canot be used for a realtime call control using CPD (Call Progress Detection) and Prepaid amounts for a post-paid Billing and call disconnect. Without this very essential feature for a commercial Calling card billing application, you would be better off calculating the calls from the Master.csv file for a post paid bill management. AreskiCC is a little more thought-driven and hence can be improved upon. If anyone is interested in developing a full fledged billing system, I have created a deisgn document ( a very elaborate rough draft infact) which I can share with you.
