First off, why are you trying to background an MP3? If you are backgrounding music, then you should probably be using Music on Hold. If you are using mp3's for audio prompts in an auto attendant, don't. There are many other ways that are significantly less resource intensive. Second, to anyone who has done any research about Asterisk, the answer as to why it is not working is blindingly obvious.
