We have some problems with dtmf detection on our lines. We use E1 pris

I concur. I have DTMF problems with inbound calls over IAX. Don't have any DTMF problems locally using g.711. I also have problems with inbound calls from GSM phones but hey, that's not a surprise and yes, if you dial reallllly slow then it seems to work more reliably.
BTW, Steve, if you're still reading, what is the RADIO_RELAX option intended to be for in dsp.c?
