Asterisk -r connects straight back to the cli.
Is there a new timeout (I'm running CVS head as of last night) or is there something more seriously amiss with this ?
I would expect that for some reason, your copy of Asterisk is:
A) Being restarted automatically by a restart script B) Crashing for some strange reason
If it is B, then best bet would be for you to send us details from your log files.
