if you watch the CLI when logging into voicemail i believe the file is called "vm-login"I would like to change this to a more friendly greeting, like "Thank you for calling Comedian Mail" and instead of it saying Mailbox have it say enter your mailbox please.
/path/to/asterisk/sounds.txt gives you the sound file name and the text of the file.
eric's answer was more about '..give a man a fish..' vs. '...teach a man to fish..' i'm sure but, i always start at the CLI when i have things that i need to diagnose.
