Using zaptel, zaprtc and rtcsetup you can get simple Zaptel timing, no usb ports or zaptel hardware required.
Zaprtc is a simple hack to the rtc driver. Compile your kernel without rtc support, compile this module, and load it along with zaptel. Then run "rtcsetup &" to put it in the background and you've got Zaptel timing. However, if Asterisk has problems running on it, then it's useless. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Matt Schulte Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2004 10:09 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] WRT54GS zaptel timing device Now if one could only find a way to adapt an FXS module! :-) -----Original Message----- From: Steve Totaro [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2004 8:48 AM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] WRT54GS zaptel timing device http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/pulpit20040527.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Underwood" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2004 9:27 AM Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] WRT54GS zaptel timing device > Kristian Kielhofner wrote: > >> Hello, >> >> I know that I can run Asterisk on the Linksys WRT54GS, but can I >> do >> Zaptel as well?
