tks I went through the debug, and what was happening was that when the called party did not answer I was getting a ACK sent from the caller (for some reason...i will try to work out why Xlite is doing this), anyhow in my routing logic I had no match for the ACK, however if I enter that parameter in I can get the route to goto failure and then to asterisk
