I would like to setup Asterisk PBX for following purposes:

1. dial-in from Europe via sipgate (Germany & UK)

Easy, I think.

2. dial-in from Canada via primus

Not quite so easy, you might want to look at some other options than Primus unless you have a specific reason for wanting to use them. I would seriously consider going with somebody else because I think you have to use their hardware etc. Contact me off list for a provider or two of Canadian numbers.

3. dial-in from USA via vonage

4. dial-in via two analog lines local

No problem

5. two phone sets attached
6. call routing according to the destination and rates

Can be done a few different ways. You could use rate_engine, just your extensions.conf, or astpp.

7. internal billing

Asterisk spits out cdrs and their is a few different ways to do it. You can use rate_engine again, or I'm working on an application called astpp, which I hope to get so it can do a half decent job of basic internal billing

8. answering machine & email forwarding

No problem.

9. call forwarding

No Problem

10. call on hold

No Problem

11. conference calls with connection of 1.~4. the phone(s) attached

See app_meetme probably or else app_conference. App_meetme has many more features but is more resource hungry I'm told

I was thinking to buy TDM22B for that adventure and extend with TDM40B (4 FXS) for additional phone sets.

Can I do all above?

bye

Ronald
