I know this seems to be a hit topic at the moment but no matter where I look I can't find an answer. I have got a simple Linux fedora core 2 installation, asterisk running and 2 X100Ps' and 1 TDM400 with the FXS modules (thou I've taking this out to simplify things).
Sometimes and not always after hanging up on the Zap channel the box will do a kernel panic, or just loading asterisk when it setups up the zap channels, or when receiving an incoming call! Error is:
<0>Kernel panic: fatal exception in interrupt
i have had to rebuild the kernel to get the modules in but they seemed to go in ok after that. If I run ztcfg I can see both of the cards working. Could it be something to do with the IRQ numbers being used? Both cards are on same IRQ as 2 other devices.
I'm running kernel version 2.6.5-1.358
