IMO, the > people giving you advice just don't know how to do it right. I fully support the statement by Carlos. Planing, engineering and other factors can make almost any software stable. Experience is key. Reply: I my experience, once you have a version of Asterisk which is stable for you DO NOT UPDATE unless you have NO other choice. We used to apply updates but got burned far too many times, usually by bugs which would not show up during normal testing.
