You can simply use "Portable LinuxLive USB Creator 2.6" or grub4dos. And make your USB bootable by any Linux Live ISO.

Is this possible? My search on web doesn't seem to find anything useful. For now I don't have the option of having a spare machine or creating a partition on my existing one for my experiments with Asterisk. My end goal is to have chan_mobile configured and see if I can make calls through my cellphone using that. Thanks, Hitesh
