Hello list, is it possible that it is not possible to pickup a local channel ??

This is an incoming call that rings extension 10, and I want to pickup this call from another extension.
It goes well when the call is coming from external. This call however never leaves Asterisk so Asterisk creates a Local/... channel. But pickup fails here...
