Does anyone in Asterisk land know how to turn on the message light on the back of the earpiece of a cisco 7960 when a message is waiting?

Paul - Most people want to know how to turn it OFF. :-)
The quick answer is to add the mailbox= number and context to the SIP peer definition:
[2203] type=friend username=2203 secret=arghbotzsplam host=dynamic [EMAIL PROTECTED] context=intern canreinvite=no dtmfmode=rfc2833 nat=1
