GIMF -- this is a parameter in sip.conf.

http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+config+sip.conf

    * *Asterisk sip vmexten* = <string> : Dialplan extension to reach
mailbox. Default *asterisk*. Valid only in [general] or *type=peer*.

So vmexten=foo will make sip show peer test13 show as

asterisk*CLI> sip show peer test13
Mailbox : 1...@default
VM Extension : foo

Hello,

I'm using sip realtime peers in Asterisk 1.4.30. I do not see a field "vmexten" defined in the mysql-DB on http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+RealTime+Sip

Kind regards,

Jonas.
