You don't need to have anything in /etc/rc.local if you have a proper
/etc/init.d/dahdi .
Maybe people of FreePBX don't know how to write usable instructions. But
anywhere else (including with Elastix, which is FreePBX-based) proper
init.d scripts are used.
Just don't follow lousy instructions.
