Hi, yes, for the home user it's still too expensive. Although it's really cheap if you compare it to other 4 BRI cards on the market.
Currently i am polishing the driver for the hfc-s pci a chipset, which i used in numerous el-cheapo ISDN cards (street price around 30 EUR). This will bring zaptel BRI (and even NT mode) to the home user. :) best regards kapejod -- Klaus-Peter Junghanns CEO, CTO Junghanns.NET GmbH Breite Strae 13 - 12167 Berlin - Germany fon: (de) +49 30 79705390 fon: (uk) +44 870 1244692 fax: (de) +49 30 79705391 iaxtel: 1-700-157-8753 http://www.Junghanns.NET/asterisk/ > Hi, > > On Wed, 14 Jan 2004 at 12:15, Klaus-Peter Junghanns wrote: > >> The quadBRI card is EUR 600, excluding VAT. > > this looks like a great piece of hardware, but I think it's too > expensive for home users like me who wouldn't really need more than one > or two BRI ports. > > So do you have any plans for a singleBRI or doubleBRI version of this > card, or maybe even a variant that comes with a single port > preinstalled and three more ports can be added as needed via > daughterboards like on the TDM400P? > > cu > Reinhard > > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
