That would depend on how you define DNIS. Dialed Number Identification Service. Most of the time the DNIS is the same as EXTEN, since the dialed number is the dialed extension. The only time this might not be the case is of someone dialed a number that was forwarded to a number on your Asterisk. If you don't care about such situations then a Channelized Voice T-1 will work just fine for DID service.
