I had the same problem initially. However, the vendor gave me a software update which fixed the authentication problem. I had hoped that it would have made it out to general distribution by now. Please contact your vendor to see if they have the software that they can give to you.
If not, let me know who you're talking with and I'll see what I can do as far as "information transfer" to the company that sold you the phone so they start doing the right thing.
