Then in the tftp config file for the phone add speeddials for the 6000 extension (cant recal how it is done, there are examples in the default file and on the wiki) I found out you really have to define the speeddials in the tftp files. speeddials configured with the phone menu or webinterface dont give you the status of the monitored phones.
What tftp file? I've looked in SIPDefault and SIP<mac> and neither one has any mention of speed dials. I've searched all over the wiki and see no mention of buddies/presence on Cisco phones with SIP.
