It's not that simple. dialparties is fundamental to the whole dialplan in AMP/freepbx and accomplishes a lot of the features such as hunt groups, DND, etc. And extensions are not necessarily what you think they are either. If you don't like it, you'd probably be better off writing your own dialplan or alternatively, rewrite it's entire functionality outside of an agi and then submit the mod to freepbx to streamline freepbx more.
