Try running ngrep or (t)ethereal on your NTP server and see if you are even
getting requests for the time via (S)NTP.

Subject: [Asterisk-Users] PolyCom phones with blinking clock and wrong
time

I have PolyCom phones in one office working perfectly, but in another
office with a new subnet, new server, new everything, the time does not
work. Everything else about the phones seems fine, but the time. If you
look at the internal webpage in the phone, it shows "clock". Our
server, which is configured to allow others on the net to get their time
from it, and it in turn gets its time from pool.ntp.org, seems to work
fine. It also seems to work fine for the second server, and one other
server who looks to that first server. The phones ask for SNTP, not NTP,
but regardless, entering any NTP server's IP or FQDN, results are the
same: blinking incorrect time on LCD. What am I missing? Thank you.

        Peace. Love. Linux.
