IIRC, the PowerEdge 2850 is used by Digium for ABE, and Signate for
some of their installations, so I think it should work well. It is a
2U rack mount, and may be available as a tower as well. I think it
has 3-4 PCI slots, but don't quote me.

I'm greeting to hear this. I have installed some Digium cards into this kind of servers. I get surprised when the slots pci gets shared IRQ with ethernet devices, raid controller or VGA card. Anybody knows how get unshare the IRQ of the slots pci ? (firmware, update, some special BIOS configuration,...)
We answered Dell with no response.
