MEGACO!=MGCP. I'm not aware of any asterisk channel driver for
MEGACO/H.248. Why don't you integrate with the CS using a T1/E1 card?
I am familiar with with IAX, SIP but no MGCP but If anyone has any
idea I am willing to study it.
Can anyone help me? I also need clarification a statement I read
somewhere that Asterisk is Call Agent not and a User Agent when it
comes to MGCP
It means that you can connect MGCP devices (so called endpoints) to
Asterisk, but you can't connect Asterisk to an MGCP softswitch as an
endpoint.
