Will do as soon as I bring it back online (took it off yesterday to do some housecleaning on the server). Maybe that's what I'm mistaking it for. I didn't see a clear channeled header for communicating. The typical error I would get is that "nobody available/no answer" after it connects the IAX circuit.

Um, IAX isn't encrypted, just a binary protocol. Have a look at ethereal.
