Id there a benefit to which protocol I use? When asked, I told them to set it up as NI2. The PRI is through MCI and will be used for local and long distance with DIDs and features like CallerID, etc.

Hey Wiley,

I was a little after you. I have about 3 more weeks for mine.

These are my first 2 PRIs so I can't really tell you which switchtype is best.

All I can tell you is by now, I'm sure that provisioning has already set things in stone as far as the configuration. Didn't you get a provisoning call? I ordered mine a week or two after you did and I've already gotten calls to verify provisioning information a long time ago.

Keep Jana in mind if you need any other quotes. She's a real nice lady. I have a couple other agents I work with. I ended up going with them since one of them had the more up-to-date information sooner and the other ended up giving me a great deal (only because I cancelled one order with them).

My quote from Jana for MCI was horrible, but through another agent (and going through a reseller) it was somewhat tolerable. Would you mind telling me what you got through MCI? Was it a quote directly from a MCI rep?

Hope it goes well for you!

Thanks,

Kevin Bockman
