I've recently upgraded to Asterisk 1.0.9 on a system which gets frequent use, mainly for MeetMe calls. After running for a while (a few days), the channel list gradually accumulates a bunch of these Zap/pseudo thingies, which just sit in the channel list forever. This accumulation is definitely related to MeetMe activity, but does not always happen as a result of MeetMe calls.

The presence of these doesn't seem to have any bad effects, OTHER than the fact that the 'restart' CLI command does not effect a restart, it just seizes the process, which has to be "kill -9" to get service back.

Any idea what's going on here?

Typical 'show channels' line:
Zap/pseudo-736329336 (default s 1 ) Rsrvd (None)
(None)

Typical MeetMe member line:
Zap/26-1 (confcall-only 50379 1 ) Up MeetMe 50379|M
