The output is from /var/log/asterisk/full

That shouldn't be a problem on any posix system (except cygwin) . '//'
is simply translated to '/' . I suspect you have a different problem.

Indeed, when I do this manually (by using soxmix on command line) this works. Any idea why this doesn't work when this gets executed after the hangup?
