Most phone providers have a number that you can use to dissable the sending of the 
caller ID.. For BT in the UK its 141 so for example if you are dialing 5551234 it will 
send callerID so to stop it you dial 1415551234 and it blocks the callerID..

Can be easily controlled in the dial plan..
